The
4 axis robot GLASS SERVICE SMART S2 is a reliable, compact and
light machine that can fit with all glass processes where glass
level is kept constant.
The most particular characteristic is the assembly in “hanged”
position with the robot’s base fixed on a raised supporting
structure.
Thanks to this assembly the robot can be put adjacent to the
furnace opening and at the same time the place below is totally
at disposal of the forming machine (press, centrifuge, etc.).
The layout of the working zone in front of the gathering bay
results more rational and compact permitting to achieve high
gather flexibility and system utilisation.
Furthermore the robot results very close to the gathering
position and to the mould position and working cycle is much
lower than the average similar machines with 6 axis under
equal working conditions.
The SMART S2 robot is available in two versions with gathering
capacity of 10 Kg and a special version of 20 Kg.
