Each continuous melting furnace shall be tailored to customer requirements and to the specific working conditions in which it will operate. The furnaces can be equipped with combustion systems fired with Natural Gas, LPG and heavy oil and can be integrated with either with electric boosting systems and Oxygen boosting systems for higher working flexibility and better efficiency.

The combustion chamber can be configured cross firing type (with side burners) or end firing type (with burners on the stack side) depending on tank size and type of combustible. The burners supplied with the furnace are of high luminosity type and are specially designed for glass melting applications.

All the auxiliary systems of the furnace – such as combustion plant, control system, batch charging system, control level systems – are conceived for the specific use in glass melting application so as to guarantee maximum performances, high reliability and working flexibility.

The furnace working end can be equipped with forehearths of different size and purpose or can be equipped with bays for manual and robot gathering.
